etrailer Hawse Fairlead ATV Winch Installation - 2018 Kawasaki Teryx4 800- Video
Hi there operators Today we're gonna be taking a look in showing you how to install etrailer's 5,000 pound winch on our 2018 Kawasaki Teryx4-800. And this is what our winch looks like when it's installed. It mounts directly to the plate right here at the bottom of your Kawasaki. There is some drilling required in order to get it in place, but all in all, it's a pretty easy installation 'cause everything's kinda right out open, right out in the open here at the front. This winch offers a 5,000 pound capacity, which is more than enough to pull our Kawasaki out of any sticky situation. The hook on the end is a nice and robust hook here. more

Hi there Kawasaki owners. Today in your 2018 Kawasaki Mule, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer's 5,000 pound winch.And this is what our winch looks like when it's installed. To get it mounted up, we didn't use the bracket that came included with it, but instead we used a custom mounting bracket from Bulldog that is specifically designed for the Mule here. One of the things you will have to change out is the fairlead here at the front as this bracket is designed for fairleads with a 5 7/8 width for the hole spacing, whereas the one that comes with etrailer winch is going to be 6 1/2. But otherwise it does mount right up to this bracket and it greatly simplifies your installation.This winch is rated for 5,000 pounds, so that's going to be more than enough for any of your ATVs and UTVs out there. Jake: Hey, guys. This is Jake here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the ComeUp ATV Winch on our 2013 Honda Foreman. This is going to be a great thing to add to your Fourman for those times when you might get your four-wheeler stuck or you need to pull somebody else out. To start here down at the bottom, you'll have a safety pull cord so that you don't have to risk smashing your fingers when holding the hook when reeling in your winch.And you're going to have a 1/4-inch thick steel hook on the end to give you more than enough strength to be able to tow anything out. And for a lead, we're going to have a synthetic rope rather than that traditional cable. more

This will really come in handy for you if you get stuck, or a friend gets stuck. It really helps get you out of jam, or if you just need some assistance of getting over some rough terrain a winch can always come in handy.Now, I'll show you how the winch works. In this particular case, we're using the remote. Now, as you can see it's pretty quiet. It comes out nice and fast actually.Now, the cable is galvanized steel, so it'll help prevent rust and corrosion. more

Today on our 2010 Polaris Ranger, we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the 3500 pound Bulldog Winch, Powersports Series ATV winch, in conjunction with the Bulldog winch custom fit steel ATV winch mount. We'll also be installing the in and out LED rocker switch for a Bulldog winch. We'll also be using the Bulldog winch ATV winch roller fairlead 122 and a half millimeter mount.This is what our winch looks like installed. So you can see it looks really nice with our bumper here. The reason you're gonna want a winch is if you ever get stuck, the winch can pull you out. If a friend or a buddy gets stuck, you can help them and pull them out as well. more

Bulldog Winch Powersports Series UTV Winch Installation - 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000-5- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Pioneer 1000-5, we're going to be installing Bulldog's Powersports Winch, part number BDW15012. And in conjunction with that, we'll be using Bulldogs Custom Fit Steel Winch Mount, part number BDW15190. This winch is going to give you 4000 lbs of pulling power. So whether you're pulling your ATV out of a sticky situation, or maybe just pulling somebody else out of a spot, this thing should be able to handle it. It features a 1.8 horsepower motor, and it's a permanent magnet motor, so its going to be lighter than other styles. It comes with a remote handle that'll allow you to operate it away from the cab of your ATV.This plugs in to the outlet that you can mount in any location, and gives you another point to operate it. more

As you can see, we didn't lose any of our ground clearance at all on our ATV. Our winch won't cause us to get stuck. If we do get stuck, we can use it to get out.On the side here we have our spool. Part number is BDW15005. Whether we're out riding on our UTV/ATV for fun, maybe on the job site, whatever the case may be, eventually we're probably going to wind up stuck somewhere. We've got a great product from Bulldog winch. This is their 3500-pound winch, 1.6 horsepower. It's going to give us great pulling power, especially for these heavier UTVs, bigger ATVs, and things like that to really help us get out our sticky situations. more

This winch offers two switches, mounting channel and roller fairlead and a capacity of 4,000lbs. Part number is BDW15004. Whether we're out riding trails or maybe on a job sit like today, get a heavy comes through, makes stuff slick. Probably going to wind up stuck at one point or another. Having your bulldog winch on hand is the perfect solution to get you out of these sticky situations. Today we've got the 4,000lb winch installed, it's a 1.8 horsepower winch, gives us great line pull strength, we can really get these heavier UTV's, ATV's things like that out of the mud and back on the trail or back to work. Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch Installation - 2010 Kawasaki Mule- Video
Today in our 2010 Kawasaki Mule, well be installing the Superwinch LT2000, part number 1120210. Before we begin our install, well show you how to operate this winch. Now, with the ignition on, we can go ahead and press the out button releasing more cable, or you can press the in button which will draw our cable back in. To pull out on our cable manually, well release the hand knob.To release the hand knob, you pull out, releasing the roll pin from the guides in the spool. Well turn it so that the guides dont line up which will allow the spool to free spin. Now weve got the necessary length out, we want to retract it. more

Superwinch Front Mount Electric Winch Wiring Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 2003 Ford F-250 we'll be installing the Superwinch Front Vehicle Electric Winch Wiring Harness, Part Number SW2007. In today's video we'll be using the Superwinch Talon 12.5-I, Part Number SW1612210. Now we'll begin here on the winch. We're going to need to remove the cover that covers up the center solenoid section. We'll need to remove these 4 allen head bolts right here up underneath the cover. Once these are done we'll need to remove 2 more allen head bolts here on the end as well as 5 phillips head screws up underneath that will allow us to remove the cover and gain access to the bolt that holds the red wire, or the positive wire, on the solenoid side. We'll be removing the red wire which is the positive wire. more

Superwinch Talon Winch Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 2003 Ford F250 well be installing as well as going over the operation of the Superwinch Talon Series 12.5 I Winch part number SW1612210. The Superwinch can be installed permanently in a fix mounted location and you will not need to change the wiring on the winch. Now for our application today well be showing you how to use it with the Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate as well as the Superwinch Electric Wiring Harnesses for both the front and the rear of the vehicle which allows us to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate which is part number C31010 as well as the handles for the Winch Mount Plate which are part number C31005. You may also notice some of the wires that come out of the top of the winch are a little bit different. Thats because this winch has been wired to accommodate the Front Vehicle Electric Winch Wiring Harness which is part number SW2007 as well at it also works with the Rear or the Trailer and Vehicle Electric Winch Wiring Kit from Superwinch part number SW2008. In both of those kits you will actually remove the ground and the red or the positive wire from the winch and youll replace them with parts from their kit. Were going to need to remove the cover that covers up the center solenoid section. Now depending on your winch the removal of the cover to get the positive side off might be a little bit different than ours, but for ours we need to remove a couple bolts here that hold the cover on and gain access to the bolt that holds the red wire or the positive wire on the solenoid side. Next well go ahead and fish the red wire out of the grommet here. Once we pull the red wire out well go ahead and fish our new positive side through the grommet into the area where well be making our connection. more

Superwinch Electric Winch Wiring Kit Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 2003 Ford F-250, we will be installing the Superwinch Trailer and Vehicle Electric Winch Wiring Kit for up to 16,500 pound winches, part number, SW2008. In today's video, we'll be using the Superwinch Talon 12.5i, part number, SW1612210. We're going to need to remove the positive and the negative wire off of the winch itself and replace it with a short leads that come with the kit. Now, it's a good idea on your quick disconnect plug to go ahead and mark the ends of the wires that way you don't accidentally mix them up. Put a positive for the positive side as well as a dash for the negative side.Now, depending on your winch, the removal of the cover to get the positive side off might be a little bit different than hours. But for ours we'll need to remove these 4 Allen head bolts right here up underneath the cover. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate Installation - 2003 Ford F-250- Video
Speaker: Today, on our 2003 Ford F-250, well be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch, electric winch mount plate part number C31010. In conjunction with the winch mount plate, well also be installing the Curt Trailer Winch mount handles part number C31005. The winch mount plate accommodates many different sizes as well as styles of electric winches. For todays purposes, well be installing the Superwinch Talon 12.5i winch. This is part number SW1612210. To begin with, were going to go ahead and put the winch mount plate into the rear receiver on this vehicle. Well then go ahead and put the pin and clip in place. more

Superwinch Terra Series ATV Winch Installation- 2014 Polaris Ranger- Video
Today in this 2014 Polaris Ranger Crew, were going to install a winch plate, part number 100820. To start our install, well begin by removing the grill. Therell be one bolt on each side and there are three bolts in the bottom we have to remove as well. Next, we need to remove the bumper itself. There are two bolts on each side that go directly to the frame. Well go ahead and remove those two bolts on each side and then well go ahead and remove the bumper and put it aside for now. more

Superwinch Electric Winch Wiring Kit Installation - 2004 Ford F-250- Video
All right, today in this 2004 Ford F250 were going to install part number SW2008 from Superwinch. This is our wire harness for the back of the truck. Well go ahead and mark the ends of our cable. Well go ahead and pair the end with the gray connector to see which is positive and negative and well go ahead and mark the ends. Well go ahead and take our two 5-ft long wires with the gray connector and well route those from the front of the vehicle to the battery. Weve got one wire in and well go ahead and repeat the same process with the other wire. more

Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch Installation - 2011 Honda Rancher- Video
Today on our 2001 Honda Rancher were going to be installing the Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch part number 1120210. Well also be using the ATV winch mount kit part number 2202889 designed specifically for the Honda Rancher. To begin our install were going to remove the black bumper cover from the ATV. You have the 2 bolts on the bottom of the bumper cover and on the top here are 2 pushpins. With our front bumper cover removed well go ahead and loosen up the lower cover which will allow it to flex like so. We can now take our bottom plates facer and our main plate 2/4 by 3/4 bolts and their nuts within the frame of the ATV here. more
